Excellent interview with Ndongo Samba Sylla! I appreciate your unique coverage of the many places that go uncovered, as it is not often you hear from a Senegalese scholar on anything; nor for that matter do I hear much from others on say, Serbia or Georgia, etc.
Alternative, independent media is often not good on covering anything in Africa in particular, I find, and I would not have realised it if I did not go out of my way to try to read from authors from all over the world. So it's refreshing yours has been, and that you always go out of your way to hear what the people in other parts of the world actually think and have to say. You are very consistent with this, regardless of where in the world it is. We'd live in a very different world if more people did this!
