It's far too convenient to blame a nation but not a corporation yet their influence cannot be and should never be ruled out in a time when Neoliberals have public private partnerships for breakfast, this is better known as soft fascism.
Question why is nothing is ever blamed on corporate meddling and influence - f.e. Blackrocks influence in Ukraine cannot be denied.
Any nation trying to retain control over their sovereignty will automatically qualify it as a prime target for corporate takeover - Through Neoliberalism they trick the public into accepting to privatize all state owned industries and assets which are subsequently snapped up multinational corporations.
