Inspired by the success of drones in the proxy war against Russia, billionaires Elon Musk & Eric Schmidt are pushing the DoD to ditch expensive tanks & fighter jets in favor of fleets of $400 drones.
Shouldnt the first and primary job of the "Efficiency czar" be to tell the president that war and weapons are the country's biggest discretionary expenditure and that humanity and diplomacy is a cheaper and more effective tool than weapons, regardless of whether its a drone or a jet fighter?

We can of course assume that his idea of "government efficiency" will of course NOT include removing subsidies and generous contracts from goverment to his companies such as Space X, the hyperloop and the consumer subsidies to people buying his Texla cars either.
